Personal data we process

Lekkervakantie.nl processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us. We may process the following categories:

  • Other data you actively provide (e.g. by creating an account, in correspondence or by phone)

  • Customer contact list via an app

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about visitors under the age of 16 unless they have consent from parents or guardians. We cannot verify a visitor’s age, so we advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data being collected without parental consent.

If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at redactie@lekkervakantie.nl and we will delete this information.

Automated decision-making

Lekkervakantie.nl does not make decisions with significant effects on individuals solely based on automated processing.

How long we keep personal data

We do not retain your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Personal account data

Retention: until you close your account. This includes name, address, email, phone number and other details provided at registration.

Business/transaction data

Retention: up to one year after account closure or longer if required by law, to settle financial and business matters.

Sharing personal data with third parties

We do not sell your data. We only share it when necessary to perform our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We sign data processing agreements with processors to ensure adequate security and confidentiality. Lekkervakantie.nl remains responsible for these processing activities.

We use functional, analytical and tracking cookies. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They ensure the website works properly (e.g. remembering preferences), help us optimise the site and enable personalised content and advertising.

Your rights

To exercise your rights or if you have questions, email redactie@lekkervakantie.nl. To verify your identity, we may ask for a copy of your ID with photo, MRZ, document number and BSN redacted. We respond as soon as possible and within four weeks.

You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Data security

We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes. If you suspect your data is not properly secured or there are signs of misuse, contact us at redactie@lekkervakantie.nl.
